Most modern systems (manufactured in the last few years), come with plenty of Ram, Hard drive, Space, etc. (except I a few exceptions). This being the case the need to upgrade is unnecessary. If your compute is over 5 years old and has any major issues it may be time to replace it. This in most cases makes more economic sense.
